Amber Alert: Bodies of missing girls, 6 and 11, found in wooded area

The bodies of two young girls missing since Wednesday were found Saturday in a wooded area of Saint-Apollinaire. Authorities are still searching for the girls’ father.

An Amber Alert was issued Thursday for two girls, Romy Carpentier, 6, and Norah Carpentier, 11, in Lévis, south of Quebec City. They went missing along with their father following a car crash on Highway 20.

Police are still looking for their father, 44-year-old Martin Carpentier.
